Hello, I'm Faisal, born and raised in Riyadh.
My journey into the world of art began with old films, I was fascinated by how they were made, how the camera evolved, and how stories were told through light and shadow.
That curiosity led me to film photography, where I found beauty in imperfection and truth in the process.
The day I got my first film camera, I shot and developed my first roll.
From that moment, something inside me ignited a passion for capturing moments and revealing them through chemistry and light.

I've always been captivated by the magic of developing film, watching an image slowly appear from what seems like nothing.
In my darkroom, I mix the chemicals by hand, carefully controlling the process, knowing that no two results are ever exactly the same.
There’s no Photoshop, no filters, just me, the film, the light, and the science.
It’s a raw, honest art form. Every photo I develop feels like a personal creation, a moment only I could bring to life in that exact way.
As my passion grew, so did my need to experiment
I tried every type of film, played with chemical formulas, and explored the vast world of alternative printing.

I stepped beyond traditional photography into a space where I create prints by hand, using light-sensitive chemicals and artistic intuition.
Each piece is one of a kind, born from process, chance, and my personal touch.
It’s here that I found my artistic voice, in the imperfections, the textures, and the tangible feel of a photo you can hold

This is not the end, just a moment to pause and reflect.
Film photography taught me to slow down, to notice the quiet details, to appreciate the beauty that hides in imperfection.
Through every photo I’ve taken, every roll I’ve developed, and every print I’ve made by hand, I’ve discovered parts of myself.
I’m still learning, still experimenting, still searching for light in unexpected places.
This journey through film is ongoing — and this space is where I choose to share it with you.
